(Atlanta, GA) Arrow Exterminator’s proudly served as
Presenting Sponsor for St. Jude’s Recovery Center’s “Voices of Recovery” annual
luncheon event recently held in Atlanta.The event coincided with St. Jude’s 46th anniversary and raised
over $100,000 through sponsorships and donations throughout the Atlanta metro
area.A group of Arrow employees were
invited to attend the event as guests of Emily Thomas, Arrow’s President and
Chief Operating Officer who also serves on the Board of Directors for St.
Jude’s.
Commonweatlth Exterminating Aids Newport News Students
Commonwealth Exterminating in Newport News, VA recently asked the
community to roll up their sleeves and help children in downtown Newport News by
supporting a School Supply Drive. Sponsored by the Old Point National Bank,
Salon Vivace, Heaven and Earth Bookstores, Cooks Moving Company, Commonwealth
Exterminating and five other radio stations, the school supply drive was a huge
success.
The supplies were given out to children that attended the South East
Community Day on September 6th and September 13th. It was
great to see the smiles from the children and even some tears of joy from the
moms and dads that walked with their children. Because of these efforts, their
children will have the resources for the completion of education. It's amazing
what small things will do to impact a person's life for both the giver and the
receiver.
Exterminators have access to some of the most influential people in their
communities. Let's continue to pull our resources of those whom we network with
to make our communities a better place. We can make a difference.
