The Office of Pesticide Services, under the direction of the Virginia Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services, created a brochure to help consumers, builders and others involved in building homes and properties understand the importance of a label-compliant Pretreat. The brochure will also educate readers about the steps involved in making a label compliant pretreat, the amount of dilute termiticide required to treat a structure and the amount of time it should take to make a proper application. With this knowledge builders and home buyers can better determine if the pretreat services they order for their properties are indeed compliant, effective treatments.
