The STM Admin Conference: Equip Your Staff to Build Your Business was designed to include one in-person event, followed by 3 virtual webinars. The in-person event, held on September 21st in Richmond, included a terrific agenda with excellent presenters and was enjoyed by 30 attendees.
To continue the momentum ignited at the STM Admin Conference, VPMA will be presenting a series of live webinars over the next three months. We have opened these webinars up to anyone interested in attending any, or all of the webinars. You do not need to have attended the initial Admin Conference. Each 90-minute webinar is a stand-alone event that will feature meaningful topics to equip you and your team with knowledge and tools to help build your business. Read about each webinar below.

STM Admin Webinar: Pest Control Jargon: Connecting Admin Staff to the Work of Your Business

As oftentimes the first company representative that a customer encounters, it is important for admin staff to have a baseline understanding of pest vocabulary and issues that your customers face. This session will give an overview of common structural pests. You’ll learn a little identification, a little biology and some habits. In addition, we’ll discuss the key questions that will help admin staff direct calls to the correct department and manage customer expectations. We will also discuss ways to calm customers’ fears.
