During this time of social distancing you can still get your techs certified - just set them up on a computer with internet access. A weblink will be shared to each tech’s own, unique email address to access the live stream session.
The full WDI program will be taught via a live webinar event by Bryan Vaughan, BCE and John Reid, VPMA WDI Chair. Interaction between trainers & audience will be facilited by open mic Q&A sessions and participant survey polling. Ensure that your tech is able to carefully detect conducive conditions, know the habits and damage of wood destroying organisms and is able to accurately pinpoint and report signs of infestations.
Advanced Study Required - each registrant will receive an electronic (pdf) version of the manual to download and read prior to the workshop. Allow ample time to cover the first 4 chapters independently.
Attendance does not ensure certification. Each participant must pass a 50 question multiple choice, true/false format exam administered at the end of the workshop, with at least a 75%.
To earn certification, each participant must be employed by a VDACS-licensed pest management company and have minimum certification in category 60 (registered technician). Those not meeting requierments can still attend the course.
Bonus! Register for this course and receive a coupon code or a free registration to the VPMA Spring Tech Training Camp designed to prepare technicians for a successful Spring season! While the Tech Training Camp will not provide recertification credits, this education will pay off as your techs hit the ball out of the park this season!
